Maquina · Founder & Principal Architect
- Build and maintain open-source Rails and AI tooling used with Claude Code and Cursor: Rails MCP Server, the Nexo agent harness, Recuerd0, Maquina Components and Generators.
- Designed, built and run Fragua, Recuerd0, Halua and Liminal as a solo product owner, designer and engineer.
- Contract architecture for US and Mexican companies: system design, brownfield assessment, AI integration.

Contract · multi-site med spa group · seed to Series A
- Designed the architecture and data pipeline from scratch and delivered it to production across 60+ clinic locations.
- Built bidirectional integrations with 10 EHR systems, keeping millions of patient records consistent under HIPAA and SOC 2 controls.
- Carried the company from seed through Series A without re-architecture, at 50K+ transactions per day. Led 4 Rails engineers.

Aoorora · Co-founder & CTO
API-first core banking platform for Mexican FinTech
- Built lending infrastructure in Rails: single-payment credits, recurring credit cycles and full loan-lifecycle management.
- Enforced tenant data isolation and a complete audit trail from day one. Led an 8-person engineering team and integrated 3 lending clients.
- The company wound down in 2023 when its funding runway ended, before any client cleared CNBV authorization.

- Scaled the firm from zero to 80 people, leading 75 engineers across 30+ clients including Levi’s LATAM and Walmart Labs.
- Rescued stalled Rails applications and ran migrations with zero planned downtime; acted as technical co-founder on contract for greenfield products.
